The BEST electronic pet...everJul 13, 2010
I love Tamagotchis. I currently have over 30 of them, but the original ones are my favorites. Very easy to take care of and fun to watch change into different creatures. Took me a long time to get bored with them. I wish I could still buy these things in stores (not the new ones, but the original). I miss my old black, white, and orange tamagotchi.

I had one of these original models when I was in 4th grade when they first came out. No BS mine lived to 84. It's really a toy where you either love it or hate it. Like the rubiks cube some people hate it but I love it cause I can solve it lol. anyways I'd reccomend trying a tamagothchi if possible before you buy.

I have all the Tamagotchi versions. This one is the original and less complex than versions 2 and 3. You feed the pet, care for it, clean up after it, and teach it to behave. The second model has a sensor on top that lets your pet interact with other version 2 pets to play or even mate to make the next generation of Tamagotchis. The third model is able to use codes from [...] to give your pet gifts, special food treats, and toys. In order to use the codes you must log on to the website using the user name on your Tamagotchi toy. If you don't, the codes won't work. Go to the health meter and scroll down until you get to the user name (NOT THE PET'S NAME.)

Tamagotchis are fun but every time I go on the website and it gives me passwords, I enter them on my tamagotchi and they don't work. It might be hard for younger kids to learn how to use them. Otherwise, I enjoy playing with them.
