KNexJan 14, 2009 Good product. Great for kids around 7 or 8. Through play, teaches planning, physics and building structure. Would buy again.
K'Nex Double Ferris WheelJan 12, 2009 My 10 year old daughter had a great time putting this together. I had to only help her snap a few of the harder pieces together. Unfortunately, the biggest wheel is crooked and no matter how much I try to straighten it, it won't clear the base and keeps getting stuck on the base. It seems like the base isn't strong enough to hold the weight of the wheel or the base needs to be raised. When I lift part of the base it will turn all the way around and is quite exciting. I need to contact K'Nex to find a solution. We haven't assembled the second option yet. Overall we had a fun time and would recommend it.
Grandma AnnJan 11, 2009 This was for my grandson, 6 yrs. old, who was very excited about the feris wheel but it did not have any of the instructions with it. He loves to build things and wanted this very badly. It is still packed away until they can get the instructions of how to assemble it.
This set builds big SMILESJan 08, 2009 This set is a great choice for a child that is familar with K-nex building. Small parts that need to be stored. But the biggest confidence booster when finished. Once built, it can be displayed and played with for many hours of pleasure.
Missing pieces...Questionable toyAug 10, 2008 We purchased this for our eight-year-old for his birthday. He loved putting it together. He discovered halfway through that it was missing 32 pieces. We returned it to Toys R Us. We went through four other FACTORY SEALED boxes before we found one that actually had the missing pieces!! After completing the set, it works okay. The wheels do hit the bases they spin. It's annoying to me, but he still likes the toy. Compared with other Knex toys, I was not impressed with this one at all.
