Mixed BlessingAug 03, 2010 The stars are for my memory of how funny Rocko was as I don't yet own this. If as one reviewer says these have been edited or "censored" the only question is why? Isn't this a sad commentary on our times that we are ruled by over zealous PC types afraid of little minds being perverted or scarred by remarks or jokes they probably wouldn't get anyway. Or is it that they live in fear of being asked to explain them? Like when Disney cut a joke out of The Muppet Movie where Kermit orders a grasshopper to drink. Do they think the tykes are going to become alcoholics? As most of us know we grew up OK, so stop cotton-wooling these kids!

twin duvet setAug 01, 2010 Very beautiful duvet set. Extremely soft and high quality. The pillow sham is large and can be used as a decorative pillow. Loved it!
Works on my DVD players with no serious problems, but...Jul 11, 2010 Both of my DVD players come from the late 90's or early 2000's. Neither seems to have any real problems playing the DVDs. However, there is one slightly annoying hang-up. Instead of playing the last couple of episodes (or the last full episode, if you go by the 30 minute episode format), they return back to the main menu. This happens on both disks. These episodes play just fine (will play both episodes/halves of the episode before going back to main menu) if you select them from "Select Episode", instead of "Play All", however.
If the episodes have been censored, then they managed to still get a lot of stuff past the radar... The disks and box are labeled "Not Rated". I would recommend this for anyone who's a fan of the show, or of similar shows. There's a lot of "not for kids" stuff here... So, don't expect the typical "kiddie cartoon". But also don't expect the kind of stuff you'd see on Adult Swim, either...

It's what it says it isMay 15, 2010 This DvD works fine. Unless you have a dvd player from the 90's it'll most likely play on whatever device you have. I don't know that this has been edited at all. There are plenty of dirty jokes on every episode just like in the old days.

Wish I could give negative stars.Jan 16, 2010 This edition of Rocko is one of the most sad, pathetic, and unethical attempts to glean money off of nostalgic fans I've ever seen. I wouldn't care that Amazon via. Viacom (?) burnt them on DVD-R's to order if they wort complete cheap censored pieces of junk. Here is a list of what the my Rocko Volume 1 wouldn't play on:
MacBook Pro (with Quicktime Pro and Avid + Many video codecs that come from lots of video editing),
Two PCs with different arrays of media players,
A very recently built DVD player.
With all my video editing software I could not find a way to make these discs play. Be sure you know what you're getting into. I would suggest spending your money elsewhere as this product is extremely insulting.
